Vine's CORIO 'baby': The CORIOscan Connect+.

In their 16th year of designing and manufacturing computer peripherals, Vine Micros have designed a Computer to Video Convertor especially for educational use. The CORIOscan Connect+ is perfect for Presentations, Training sessions, Information Display and Video Conferencing at any level whether it be within a school, further educational or higher educational environment.

Any presentation or training session can be controlled by means of the Infra-Red Remote Control with such features as; the choice between Overscan and Underscan, useful for full screen Presentations and Software Training sessions respectively; 2 x Zoom and Pan, allowing the user to focus on a specific area of interest and; Freeze, particularly useful for teachers instead of traditional 'White Board' methods for information display as you go, thus allowing pupils the time to note the content of the training session, whilst the user continues with the construction of the next page. This not only saves time and allows the user to fit more into one session, but there is a permanent record of your lesson which can be saved via your computer for use at other times.

Should you prefer to control the presentation manually, the Overscan/ Underscan and Freeze features can also be accessed via buttons on the front of the CORIOscan Connect+ Unit. Once settings have been saved, the unit itself can also be locked as can both the unit and the remote control, which is great to prevent the temptation of wandering fingers fiddling with buttons! The special feature of 'AutoSet' assists the set up process by automatically sizing the computer resolution on the Video display. In addition to that, to save you valuable teaching time, the setting is then automatically saved in the CORIOscan Connect's non-volatile memory and is recalled whenever that resolution is used again - what could be more simple!

The CORIOscan Connect+ is compatible with a wide range of equipment and features Composite, S-Video and RGB outputs. All that is required is a computer and a television. PC and Apple Macintosh compatible, the easy to use CORIOscan Connect+ boasts 4 line flicker reduction and supports resolutions of up to 1600 x 1200 (recommended 1024 x 768) and horizontal scan rates of up to 100 kHz, resulting in high quality computer to video conversion even for the budget conscious.
