Vine's
top of the range Scan Convertor
steps into the Studio!
Based on the sophisticated
technology of the CORIOscan Pro, Vine have now developed an even better
scan convertor which addresses the demands of the Post Production/Broadcast
market... the CORIOscan Pro SG!
As its name would suggest, the CORIOscan Pro SG provides a Studio Genlock
feature which allows the unit's signal to be genlocked to the master
reference sync. in a studio environment.
"The reference sync. has been requested by the Post Production market
since the launch of our CORIOscan Pro in 1998" says Amanda Mallett,
Sales and Marketing Director. "We consider ourselves to be a responsive
Company that caters to our customers' requirements and we always appreciate
any feedback. We hope that the development of the CORIOscan Pro SG will
show that any comments from users of our products are taken seriously".
Having twice as much video memory of the CORIOscan Pro, the output quality
of the CORIOscan Pro SG is superb, delivering exceptional clarity and
full 24 bit colour information. Useful in the post production studio
set up, Vine has integrated horizontal and sub-carrier phase control
to assist in vision mixing and colour accuracy when editing. The unit
supports resolutions of up to 1600 x 1200 with no line dropping, at
horizontal scan rates of up to 100kHz and has 6 line flicker reduction.
The CORIOscan Pro SG is compatible with PC, Apple Macintosh and Workstations,
is PAL and NTSC switchable and the choice of using YUV, RGB, S-Video,
Composite Video with separate sync outputs, make it compatible with
a vast array of equipment.
The technology may be sophisticated, but all angles of usage have been
considered carefully in the design of the CORIOscan Pro SG. The initial
set-up of the unit is made effortless by the unique characteristic of
the CORIOscan range, AutoSet. At the press of a button, this feature
sizes your computer image and the settings are saved in the unit's non-volatile
memory. When in action, the unit is also easy to control either: manually,
via buttons on the front of the unit which features a Liquid Crystal
Display that can be seen from any angle; via a stylish Infra-red Remote
Control, which allows control of the unit from a distance; or via RS232
PC Control. It also features a handy disabling Button Lock which is
useful to ensure that no settings are changed.
Available in Desktop, Single Rackmount and Double Rackmount versions
the units will be priced respectively as follows:£765.95 (Eur 1,166.11),
£808.46 (Eur 1,230.19), £1,574.41 (Eur 2,396.76). All prices exclude
VAT, but include a mains adaptor. For use with other computers, Apple
Macintosh and Workstation Input packs can be purchased separately P.O.A.
